In the wake of the devastating fires in New Mexico during 2022, the town of Las Vegas was left with unstable mountain sides and fire debris entering the river that supplies the town water. The Army Corps of Engineers designed and we constructed remediation measures to alleviate these issues.
Some of these measures included, the installation of gabion baskets in the river and on mountain sides prone to erosion, the removal of burnt and felled trees, and the demolition and clearing of affected houses and land.

Amid the environmental concerns and push for clean energy, 280 Earth (Subsidiary of Google), contracted us to build their pilot facility for direct air carbon capture. This unit was completed in 2024 in The Dalles, Oregon.
The project involved the construction of their proof of concept and early design prototype that will lead to the development of larger units across the US. Particular challenges of the project included an accelerated schedule with hard deadlines and first of its kind prototype.
A regional refinery contracted Conner Industries for the installation of a concrete foundation consisting of piers, retaining wall, and containment to support three filtration boxes used for oily solids produced during operation. We were also responsible for the installation of these boxes.
This project included multiple unique challenges, including a 3 AM concrete pour to accommodate the large volume of concrete placed with pump trucks. This complex foundation system required sheet piling as shoring for the site, large rebar matts set in place with crane support, and bracing throughout the site.
